Question Is it possible to put tv/dish tv on my ZVM?

Is it possible to put tv/dish tv on my zen vision m. I do not have tivo(thinking about getting it) or media center. is there anyway to plug my zen into the vcr or dvd player or the tv? or any other way to get it on my zen thanks y'll. I just love my zen.

Welcome!

Since the ZVM is not a recording device (except for FM radio), your only choices are through a computer. This would require either a video capture card (or camcorder/firewire card), from which you would record your TV to your harddrive and then download to the Zen, or by recording to a standalone DVD Recorder, and then "ripping" the video to file to be downloaded to the Zen. Neither are simple or elegant, I'm afraid.

If you are thinking about getting Tivo you would need Tivo Series 2 w/ Tivo 2 Go functionality. Your Zen Vision M does support Tivo to Go.

I record TV shows all the time with Media center, then i use windows media player to sync them!! Works great!
