Hildalgo was actually really good...
But I'll agree with you all when you say Uwe Boll movies suck. Anyone who tells you otherwise is Uwe Boll. In fact I've heard a lot of theaters have removed their fire alarms. In the event of a fire, they just play "House of the Dead" in every cinema. Gets everyone out real quick.

A lot of reviews have criticised the Sum Of All Fears but I saw it the other night and kinda liked it. It's got a good plot, some great CGI (the nuke in dropped on Baltimore was good) and not bad acting.
I'm now thinking of reading some of Clancy's other books.

I'd have to say Titanic and Pearl Harbor rate right up there as some of the biggest brain dead Hollywood films in recent history. I detest both with extreme prejudice...
Just saw Terry Gilliam's Tideland.. comments from anyone on it? Gilliam is one of my favorite director's.. not sure where I come down on Tideland just yet though, but it is really a unique effort..

I really do agree with titanic and pearl harbor they were both horrible but one of the best world war 2 movies has to be Saving Private Ryan it was great

Sleeping With the Enemy starring Julia Roberts. She plays an abused wife who fakes her death by drowning. After she is presumed missing at sea what does she do, but go back to the house she shares with her husband, cut her hair, change clothes, and flush her wedding ring down the toilet. Thing is, the wedding ring doesn't flush.
Okay. Um...supposedly, she was lost at sea? Then why didn't her wedding ring get lost with her? (This is where it's supposed to get intriguing, I guess.) The ring is the sign that the wife isn't missing after all. Wow! Like, viewers don't have the mental faculties to question the absurdity of the script's plothole. Such lazy writing.
