Try it and let everyone know how it works out.
As much as I luv listening to Floyd without the gaps I'm more interested in getting the ogg static fixed. |

Wow... It's really good. I used the linux binary to convert my tracks and now gapless Ogg Vorbis works PERFECTLY on the Z5 (for me anyway). No more pops, clicks, gaps, or jumps--it's seamless. I feel like I just gained a new portable player for free $$.
There will be no more bugging iventor from me. |

Not only did this not work the way it was promised, it actually made the drop-off at the end of the songs worse, especially when it was in gapless mode. I have libogg 1.1.3 and liboggz 0.9.5, so it should've worked fine. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to get this working. I'm really sick of the last second of oggs getting dropped.
Of note: The "fixed" ogg files were actually smaller than the non-fixed ones, which doesn't seem right given how he describes the way sung-fix-ogg should work. |

Ok, I'm author of this fix, so please provide any feedback on using it here or (preferred way) in comments

May you tell me what sizes are exactly, which encoder did you use (version and settings, if possible) and, if possible, let me look at these files (my email is *my.login.on.this.site************). Upd: I mean the original and fixed, not 2 original, etc)) |

I second this request. Please, can anyone help? Also, can anyone explain what this fix actually does? Thanks.
