need help... To all those who helped me here I'll be happy to help anyone out.. You just NEED TO HAVE the drivers installed for the PC (windows) to pick up the device in the e200tool.. Rest was pretty straightforward.. Nerds helping nerds take over the world.. Promo@TooSexyJah.com.. Nice to have my music back.. wish I went here earlier.. lol

Yea, I think they removed the Windows one because it was old, buggy, and out of date.

if you switch the player to hold (lock) while off, and then hold down the center button and turn on the player, only the scroll wheel will light up. the screen backlight will stay off. basically, your player is a flashlight, only powering the led's to the scrollwheel and nothing else.

Clalance, are you using Linux or Windows? The Linux one works fine. Like I said before the Windows one was old, buggy, and out of date.

PsYx, you might need to use the e200tool in Linux since it seem to work fine.

(I know that this is my sansa because when u plug off the sansa and type lsusb again it is not more there ^^. Usally there has to be written: ID 0781:0720 SanDisk Corp. Why it shows me the wrong ID? I did all the things that i had to but it shows wrong??

Sounds like something else is wrong. It sounds like the i2c might needs to be replaced, but I might be wrong since I have not ran into this.

Thats the reason why it doesnt work. I had a Problem because i wanted to use a custom Firmware and then the Sansa didn't start anymore (there was the sansa screen and then a yellow screen and then bam nothing else happens.) So i put i2c.bin Euro e260 on my sansa because I thought that it could help. But after that the mp3 player only shows the blue ring
And if i put the USB cable in the sansa my Pc says New device --> I tried to install but id doesnt work so i cant connect the sansa and put another file on it
