Question Can I add a power amp to my basic shelf stereo?

I have a basic RCA 5disc changer, radio, and casette deck, the only outputs on the stereo are the R and L speaker wire outs.

I guess what I'm asking is is there a power amp out there that I can use to add a few more speakers to the system?

As far as some conections go, I'll probably need some fantsy cables too.
Anyone who can give me some assisstance or direction, it would be much appriciated.

Guess you describe a basic all-in-one system... no there's nothing you can do, I'm afraid.

Get a dedicated amp, CD player and what else you need... then you can easily upgrade every part separately if you deem it necessary.
