The new Air Cushions are fantastic. They go pretty deep in your canals and isolate decently. I do have to put the volume a little higher than my Shure e2gs but I think they also sound better and are more comfortable.

Just snatched up a pair of white JVC HAFX55 in-ear monitors from Amazon, $16 shipped. Pretty much the same amount I paid for my KSC75s, which is very impressive.
Oh, and by the way, the HAFX55s aren't nicknamed "Gumy" - the JVC Gumy headphones are just dirt-cheap, bottom-of-the-line earbuds that come in just about any color imaginable.

And, actually, the Gumy's aren't really all that bad. True, the name befits the sound quality as well as the physical composition of the buds, but for the price, they're not bad.

Are AKG K 314P the same as AKG K 14P?
I just want to make sure that they are the same because I found them on amazon at different prices. $24.95 vs $17

Yes, they're the same, more or less... AKG just renamed some of their products in the last time. The K14P is now a discontinued product.

I just got and tried out some Phillips SHS3910 headphones. My favorite style is behind the headneckband headphones, and these did not dissapoint. I liked the sound quality and the fit. I had also been looking into some Sennheiser PMX60's, but there was not enough technical info provided on either set to determine which would be better for me. The range on the Phillips phone is better, and while the Sennheiser phones have 20dB more sensistivity, I don't really listen to my headphones too loud. I'd like to add the Phillips SHS3910 to the list of good headphones under $30.

The Koss KSC50 sound good as well, they are the KSC55 but in clip on style (and they all, including the PortaPro and the KSC75, use the same drivers. Only difference may be some Titanium coating or so). Just beware, on pictures they may look cool. They don't when you wear them. They are huge and stick out pretty far. You'd better have long hair.

I bought some Marshmallows from the store the other day for use when I am likely to break them (running, exercising, etc) because everyone seems to think they're decent for the money.
They're not decent for any money. They have no isolation and no sound quality whatsoever. The mids are so recessed that I could hardly hear lyrics. Not to flame, but I was seriously disappointed.

They isolate pretty well on a noisy bus for me.

Hi,
Which one of these would be the best Sennheiser CX300(not these as i saw the price being above $40 and not in my budget can anyone confirm what the price is?) Creative EP-630 JVC Marshmallow All of these are in my budget. I listen to hard rock, soft rock, punk rock, and a few more. Will these earphones make a significant difference in quality over the stock earphones? I have heard music on these devices:nokia 5700,sony e w810i, ipod nano, creative stone, and all with the stock earphones that come with them I dont notice much or i dont notice a difference in the quality at all if i try to compare the quality is it just me or is it because i heard the music on stock earphones or i am not listening carefully.Anyways the earphones that i mentioned on the top will be paired with my p2

If you're a basshead, get the EP-360's. If not, get the marshmallows.

From all I read, the EP-630 or CX300 should be more or less the same as the Bass Freqs (or maybe even better, depending who you're listening to).
So go for the EP-630, they're also far less ugly than the Bass Freqs.

Hey guys I am impressed by the reviews of the Creative EP-630 that I've seen on the net and I look forward to purchase it once i get my P2.
Any idea where i can a VERY cheap headphone carrying case? And like i mentioned in my previous previous post that I've never noticed any difference in the sound quality of the songs that I have heard on different daps and earphones, is it me or i am not listening carefully or i never came to know the true quality of the daps cuz i heard the songs only on stock earbuds Thanks

Altoids tin, or a $5 neoprene digicam case.
