Yeah I was looking for some headphones instead of IEMs and I already purchased the FiiO E5 for around $20 from dealextreme awile back. I plan on getting the Samsung P3 32g later on when it's released in America.

They stay in just fine, compared to the magnitude of other IEMs available... and if you wear the cable over your ears instead of letting them hang down, they're rather decent concerning cable noise (aka. microphonics).

Hello!

I'm looking at asking someone from the US to pick up a pair of IEM's for my fuze...

after reading, keen on either the PL30's or the CX300.. looking at around 20-25$ price range for the phones..
And if possible get a Fiio E5 amp..

Which of the phones would be a better bet? plan to use these with my Fuze for daily commute, so need good isolation..

Any other suggestions?

i think it's better if you use the money you're gonna spend on a fiio e5 and buy a pair of better IEMs. IMO, IEMs provide better bang per buck compared to amps.

Beta is more neutral than the CX300, but the Beta is very muddy and veiled in comparison. CX300 has harsher treble and lots more bass. I prefer the CX300 by far, other people think I'm crazy because of that.

I found or pair of (real) V-moda vibes (new) on ebay -20 $
So I quickly decided that this would be a better counterpart to the PX100'S
and ordered a (red) pair!

I have a pair of the FX-33 Marshmallows (FX-34 is current). They were the first pair of good (to me anyway) earphones that I bought. Many people complain about the stock foamies feeling hard or large (or whatever) in their ears. My ears got sore after using them for a while. Found them MUCH BETTER after I replaced the stock tips with UE tips.

I don't use them much anymore because I picked up some FX-66 Air Cusions in a pre-Xmas sale.
