Just don't ever bother with buying earbuds on eBay. They're cheap enough to be copied. It's difficult to discern an honest buyer, and it's something I've acquired that I'm not going to bother explaining, let alone with the necessary elaborations. Basically, it's really easy to make knock-offs, and the images and descriptions they provide are misleading or outright lies. Again, don't bother with buying earbuds on eBay.
And really, do you have to be told not to buy that kind of stuff from Hong Kong? Also, if I remember correctly, the EP360 is the same as the Sennheiser CX300. It was somewhere in the headphones board that I read it a few times. The V-Moda Bass Freq are good for bass... if you don't mind the way they look. Aardvark's CX300 review: http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum...ead.php?t=7291 List of IEMs: http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum...hread.php?t=69 EDIT: Wow, took me forever to hit 100 posts (and hence become a member), although I've been here for a while considering my avatar lol.

] And besides, 'Varky is half deaf anyway So don't just go on his reviewWhen I was freaking out and in need of new 'phones yesterday I was tempted to buy the CX300's but as dfkt did say you really don't know how good a quality they'll be until you actually listen to them, and you had mentioned in a previous post that you had tried your friends 630's and preferred them. At the end of the day, stick to what you like and know best. I'd suggest buying the 630's as you've used them and liked them, but don't buy from ebay. Plan303e is right, there are waaay too many fakes out there as they are easy to manufacture and distribute on sites like ebay! If you're going to invest in a good pair of earphones then buy them from a store you know, no matter what the price, because if you've an issue with them you can always bring them back without hassle. Buying from ebay just throws up too many problems... Counterfeiting being the main one |

anomo.
thanks for the info, i read cx300 on other websites too and they are pretty good. i have now skipped the option of buying earphones from ebay. will stick to some good websites that are reputed. and ep 630 are really very good. i m inclined towards them but as of now no good deals seems to be there for the same. and somehow i lost the cx300 deal too. i should buy in a day or two, and chances are it will be ep 630. unless there is some twist in tale, it would probably be ep 630. thanks again.

Hello Everyone.
Firstly, I had like to thank everyone for their input regarding selection of earphones. It wouldn't have been possible without you. I really appreciate your help. I finally ordered creative ep-630 black for $16. Long wait for the product to arrive has started. Hope to get it by next monday. Though a lot have been written about ep 630 and is reviewed many times, i had like to write a brief review of how i feel about ep 630. Stay tune. Thanks.

Sony's come out with a new series of EX earbuds-the EX33/35/36V-all have 9mm EX drivers and can be found for under $45.
What makes these nice is the tips are "hybrid sillicon"-basically meaning the outer part of the tips is softer sillicon, while the inner part is hard sillicon-enhancing the in-ear seal. Personally, I've got the EX35LP-paid $44 for these and found the isolation to be very good-something Sony's EX series does well and it sounds quite nice for my tastes. It has got a good level of bass-which I like too.

I'm just totally in love with my sony MDR7506's man
pretty cheap and solid and offcourse very decent sound quality. I also own a pair of beyerdynamic DT213's which sound decent but not as good as the sonys. They have a much punchier bass tho. And cheaper.

I am a big fan of the V-mode Bass Freq. If it had a tough J-cable and angled plug, it would be the perfect IEM for me (especially considering its $20 price tag).

Ok, I'm torn....I was debating the Sennheiser HD201/202 as an economical alternative to my KSC75's(the clips hurt the outer ear after a while but they sound great). As of today, about $20 for 201, $25 for 202. Then I looked a little further....and saw the HD415 for around $30, and the HD457 for around $25(all on Amazon). I got a glowing recommendation for the HD202 already(thx TDS), but I know it's a closed design, and the 415 and 457 are the open variety, like my KSC75's(which I love). So now I'm completely confused again. Thoughts, anyone?
![]() Edit: Isolation isn't really a concern, and I do listen to a wide variety of music.

![]() I appreciate a lot your serious efforts to bring accurate information to your readers. I'll buy the Panasonic RP-HTX7 because you suggested... I am becoming a collector of cheap phones. My last aquisition a Samson RH300. I want to suggest you to give a look to Korean Cresyn which ranges from very cheap to expensive ones. I own a couple of them: a in-channel LMX-E630 to the excellent LMX-MH41... sincerely I would like to know your opinion about the sound of this artefacts sometimes Cowon branded (the bundled one are really poor)... LMX-MH41 are a bit uncomfortable but I think they bring a really good crystal clear sound. |

Hi, after reading many people bitch about how shitty skullcandy ink'd earbuds are, I realized I've been deprived of good earbuds, and was too deaf to notice, lol. So I've decided to buy new ones!
I have a zvm and would prefer not to spend more than 30$ ish. So I've narrowed it down to: A.Sennheisers cx 300 But, since they're so cheap (and on ebay), I'm not positive they're real. B.2XL IEMs I would probably get them at bestbuy. Would it be worth risking it on the cx 300's, or should I just go for the 2xl's? |

I'm not sure that I've read anything positive about 2XL phones.
Look at the JVC FX-66, lots of good comments about these. Steve |

If you want to get cx300s and want them to be real buy them from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-CX3...3588928&sr=1-1
Ebay is filled with fake cx300 so watch out

http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-RP-H...8796472&sr=8-1 They come in a few different colors, and I have the black as well as the red Ryan Sheckler's. I paid $20.00, and I'd recommend waiting till price drops again so you can too. Great cans on a budget.
