Hey, save those altoids tins for DIY DVD-burner based lasers! If you can fit 4-AAA's, a regulating circuit w/ pot, momentary and toggle switches, housing, and thermoelectric peltier with toggle switch in it, anyway... I've seen it done but I gave up and bought a large RS project box!

Yep, stock buds are crap, not enough ability to pull out the detail in the songs coupled with an ability to let all the minutia of external noise in. We have stock buds here from Creative, Archos, Sony, and many others, and they are all utter baggy pants.

Now you can find buds that do have an ability to reveal the music, we have a set of Sennheiser mx500 and they are much better than stock.

However with canalphones like the EP630, you are moving up a league. say goodbye to a 3 speed autobox on the column and say hello to a 5 speed stick shift on the floor.

I understand what you're trying to say by 3 speed autobox and 5 speed stick shift, but what do u mean by on the column and on the floor .

So another league up would be buying Shure SE100 right ,like driving a 6 speed stick?or something like that.

And one more q btw, I read what burn in is, I plan to burn the EP360 ONCE i get them.. Shud i keep the samsung stock headphones on burn-in too?

Before you get the any of the lower Shure models, check out the Mylarone X3i - it's almost certainly the best sounding sub-$100 canalphone at the moment.

Disregard the whole burn-in hype you read... just listen to your phones and enjoy. Some phones might change significantly over time, some others won't.

I did read the review on those MylarOne earphones, but also the build quality of them. And I read your guide to fix the build quality...
Well if I do get earphones which are better than EP630, then I will consider the MylarOne.

Well, while deciding on exactly just what Shure headphones I want to purchase, I picked these up because I've used KOSS back in the day for the BASS and because our dumb cat chews on anything made of wire and he totally messed these up beyond repair. I have to be 100% honest with you. My $20.00 Koss sound much better than my $140.00 Bose.

Whenever I watch a movie on my AV500, I think I'm in a movie theatre. They are that good, especially for $20.00, Monk....
