When they arrive, let us know what you think to them.

We will let you be a CX300 fanboy......but just once! Lol

Hope you like them, but you should also pick up the JVC marshmallows for $10 from CC. Some people prefer the mallows to the CX300 and they cost 1/5 the price.

I really like the CX300ís, got mine for free through a work reward, but after listening to them Iíd still shell out the $53.00. Can say Iíve tried the mm, but for $10.00 itís definitely worth a try for back up.

I got those headphones. AMAZING quality. I just put the zune on 8 and I don't hear my surroundings and that is in a school lunch full of people screaming and in a train . Just make sure you get the right size to make sure you get the full music bass experience and make sure it's properly seal. Mine works fine with Medium caps.

Hmmmm....
Ordered em from tigerdirect.com and they came with only one set of plug things????
Were they not supposed to come with 3 total of various sizes?

Also, my wife is not... how should I say this, gifted on setting the EQ and would not let me play with the eq. They are MUCH louder than the stock ones and felt really good in my ears. However, since they only came with one pair of fittings, they don't fit very well in my wifes ear.
Anyone else have this problem??

Check if you didn't get fake ones: http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum...ead.php?t=8392

Thanks DFKT, I will check when I get home. The packaging sure did look authentic. Great info!!

BTW: What should I do if they are indeed the fake ones? Demand my money back?
Tigerdirect is pretty reputable here in the US, I wouldn't imagine they would sell anything but the real deal.... hmmmmm

they are indeed authentic. The lettering and the way the screen is installed is recessed and not .. whatever. So if anyone is going to order from tigerdirect beware you may not get the extra diff sizes of plugs

Can I go somewhere and get the diff plugs, say bestbuy or CC, maybe a dif brand plug will still fit with the CX300's????

As to quality, it's incredible if your lucky enough that they fit you correctly, its like the music is coming directly from your brain.... anyone else have this effect, they are crisp, clear and just .. fantastic, blows the stock ones out of the water.

Yes, most plugs fit on any IEM. I can easily interchange between Ultimate Ears, V-Moda, Etymotic and Sennheiser.

Looks like the only place that would have the v-moda plugs(where I live) would be the Mac Store

Should I dare go in? LOL!!

I think you should consider yourself lucky that some place near you has them. Most people on here have to mail order them.

did the packaging have molded plastic where the extra plugs should've been? i suppose however they package them, somehow the extra plugs didn't make it into it?

sort of related - i own a vitamin store and every once in a while i'll find a bottle of vitamins that won't have anything in it, like it got skipped somehow. pretty weird.

The CX300's packaging has the spare silicone fits hidden underneath some cardboard, you don't see them from the outside. They're just packed in a small plastic bag.
