LOTR
Gladiator-Ridley Scott directed this. Russell Crowe stars as Maximus. Black Hawk Down was good as well
Meet the Parents-Funny as hell. Sequel wasn't as good though. Zoolander also starring Ben Stiller was good. Comedy seems tough to pull off. I also like the comedy in the Rush Hour movies

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid-Paul Newman and Robert Redford
