Well, after using my new Vibes for a week now, I can honestly say the things have really grown on me. I haven't renormalized the songs on my ZVM yet, but I now listen to my music with volume at around 18 - so there definitely appears to be a "break-in" period with these things.

I figure, once I get my renormalized music onto my ZVM, I can expect to be able to drop the volume down to around 12-13.

I've had the V-Moda Vibes for quite some time now. While both the Senn CX300 and Vibes don't offer total sound isolation they both do pretty well but expect to raise the volume some compared to IE headphones like Shure's and Ultimate Ears.

The V-Moda Vibes are geared with a bias towards bass without drowning out the other tones. The detail is very clear and pretty warm giving the music some depth to it. Bear in mind that the Vibes can cost from $90 to $101 USD.
