[Marvin the Martian]

My all time favorite racing game was Race Drivin' in the arcade......although it was adapted for consoles, it couldn't possibly be the same, as the arcade version had force-feedback steering and a manual-shift mode with a stick shift (4-speeds forward, plus reverse)and clutch, brake, and gas pedals....not possible on the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendos of the time.


I was the f---ing man on this machine......my scores filled the top ten of the scoreboard on the stunt track for the whole two years it was in the local arcade.

I spent a lot of money on it in the beginning....it was seventy-five cents per play, which was kinda pricey in 1990, when I was making $6.00 an hour at my job. After a while though, it didn't cost much anymore.....one play would typically last me anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour, after which I'd be all sweaty and shaky from the adrenalin....man that was a lot of fun. Often I would end up with an audience, as people would be waiting to play...lol.

I'd need more than a mouse and keyboard to play that....lol. I have Need For Speed Shift on the Touch, that I haven't really played yet.

^I used to have a Logitech gaming steering wheel for mine, it had peddles and everything. But I never used it much and got rid of it, honestly the keyboard is just as fun to me I've got NFS Shift on my Touch too.

@McDougal and Marv, I definitely agree! An iPod Touch can definitely not do this line justice! And I just use the arrow keys. No need for a wheel, though I have one. It's cheap and buggy, though.

Heh. I suppose so, but a nice toy to take for time trials. Compete with yourself.

If I want modern American muscle, I'm going with a Challenger, meself. I like the looks more than 'Stangs. I'm not sure why...

I don't care to much for any of the new Mustangs more like the old 04 Teirminator's. I agree though the Challenger is quite nice I couldn't see myself racing in it.

BTW the two best looking actor who did voice-overs where mines and Rarity. Even Rarity singing voice is cute.
