I hated Internet Explorer (especially IE6, I still don't get why people would be using that browser now (lestatar )) up until MS did it right and released IE9 . IE9 is FAST (due to the hardware acceleration support), has a simple, Chrome-like interface, and has full support for HTML5.

Google Chrome might be a little bit faster, but not by much, and I find IE9 to be more stable than Chrome too....

At least it is not like itunes(not letting other software in place of it).
I am bringing back the lost glamor of this thread........
BTW: my preferred browser is Firefox.

Seriously? You're posting a Microsoft advertisement that shows that IE is better? Oh brother...

"Ease of use: 10/10" is my favorite. I bet scientists measured that.

And the claim that IE honors web standards was an outright lie for all current IE versions. Every web developer will tell you how horrible it is getting IE to behave like every other browser out there. Let's hope they don't lie about IE9 in that aspect.

I'm not saying that IE9 is the best browser yet, I'm just saying its vastly improved over previous versions. My preferred browser is STILL FIREFOX, due to the wide range of add-ons . The browser discussions can stop here if preferred......

@Adub: Though your idea is good but as there are few choices (Opera,Maxthon,Safari,IE,FF,chrome) do you think it is worth it?

The urea cycle isn't that hard when you think about it. It's the thinking about it that I find hard.

Also, IE9 is fantastic. Pages load faster, it feels snappier, it is finally standards complaint so things render right, etc. It's not like far and away the greatest thing since sliced toast, but it definitely works well and seems to crash less than the latest Firefox 4 beta does.
