@lestatar
At least shape the desktop icons round the background. You're covering the pretty picture O_O

Hey gebal: You're right of course, but I am too dang lazy
Plus I have a humungous wallpaper collection, random cycle every 15 mins - a shaped set of icons looking good for 1 may obstruct another image so I said the heck with it...

windows 7 is best for SSD drives... and SSD drives still have issues that need to be worked out like limited write cycles and power management issues. I wanna wait till the better ones come out. Really a hybrid config is better, just using the SSD disk for the OS and the data storage on a regular HD is best for now. They need to hurry it up with SSD drives issues.

but LOL at the minimalism pic.

I would like to try dreamscenes but I'm on server 2008 so they don't work well.

Oh yuki! My new best friend! Another XP diehard...Even better, you have WAAAY more icons on your desktop than I do!

Now I don't feel like the only "slob" compared to all the other minimalist junkies here......Not that I'm calling you a slob or anything....<LOL>

That's The Tragically Hip a Canadian rock band, my favorite band. I think you need to be Canadian to enjoy them lol as they aren't nearly as popular anywhere in the world as they are in Canada.

They are amazing live, especially in clubs.
