Oh, dfkt, I got curious and took a look at Drempels. That thing makes me seasick! I couldn't look at it for more than 30 seconds at a time without getting naucious. Relaxing, my ass! Neat technology though. I'm really a PC minimalist at heart and would probably go insane with something continuously using 2-4% processor.

Yeah, it's nice for showing off, but it's too distracting for serious work.

I once had it runnning while DJing on my laptop with Traktor in a club.. people looking at my desktop got quite confused. Some intoxicated guys kept staring for hours at my desktop.

BTW: I see you ordered a PA2V2 - good investment, I like mine very much!

Now I just need it to show up. I ordered on the 26th. We did have a postal service holiday on the 4th, but it has been 7 business days (9 working post office days) for an airmail package and I'm getting nervous. Gary said 5-10, so I'll give it until Monday before I ask. Incidentally, buying that amp is definitely in the top 3 customer service experiences I have ever had, if not number 1.

Gary is the best. I mail-bombed him for weeks with questions, he answered them all very exhaustively and polite. It took the amp 2 weeks travel time from Canada to Austria.

Best part was that Gary 'cheated' the customs - he marked the value of the parcel as $20.

I like my current theme. I have about 70 different themes and hundreds of backgrounds to choice from. After about a week I get tired of it and change it. Last week I had a very nice fire theme. I think I'll keep this theme for a little while longer

Well, there's always Google or Yahoo maps that lets you stick location markers into a map... but not for a desktop background, unfortunately.
