I've been with Kyle Petty on Danica. STFU and do something, although I have to admit the Daytona pole was a major milestone. Sooooooooo tired of the media hype surrounding her.

I like seeing any kind of woman on the race track, I think its great and am kind of surprised it isn't more common.

Even though I feel its usually more of a gimmick for the male audience. Not saying there's anything wrong with being in racing and being drop dead gorgeous- I would just love to see a woman compete, winning would be a bonus and let that be all there is to it. Don't get me wrong Danica Patrick is great i'm sure, I just don't really know as we don't get Nascar over here, or if we do I'd have to pay for it, and that's a no go for me unfortunately :P I see her a lot on go daddy, and that's just unfair for her I think D:

I agree wholeheartedly, it's not a get the women off the track sentiment at all. But I do watch a ton of nascar (after F1, Australian super cars, DTM, motogp, etc.), and they've just been banging her drum incessantly since there were even rumors of her moving over.

Quite pissed that FOX is killing speed for YASN (Yet Another Sports Network) in August. They were talking about women potentially in F1, but they have to go through the whole farm series, and bring massive $$$$$$$, just like the guys who are starting out, so the odds are low.

Go Daddy made her into a true celebrity. Before that most people never heard of her. Talent, beauty, and celebrity. I guess the next step for her is to go into acting full time. She could still race on the side.
