Default Samsung starts manufacturing vertical nand chips

Can't find the original press release, but:

Hopefully this turns the tide for the painfully slow rise of onboard storage capacity. It looks like it's only 128gb for now, but 384gb is supposedly easily achievable.

Sweet! If they make a device with that amount of internal storage and and have 2 to 4 micro SDXC card slot (hopefully they come out with 128 or even 256 gb cards in the upcoming year) we could have something close to a terabyte of on device storage.
