Help Speaker Dock For iPods Recommendations?

Does anyone have personal experience with any of these? I am looking for one that is pretty strong on bass, can go quite loud without distortion, and sounds reasonably well. In other words, I am looking for the best bang for the buck costing $250.00 or less. It doesn't need to sound perfect but I need to buy it in a hurry. If anyone can recommend any of these it will be greatly appreciated.

I don't have personal experience with it, but this one looks nice...

A possible alternative would be a boombox with an Aux-in jack, and this FiiO dock connector that allows use of both the line-out and charges the iPod at the same time.

I have this and it works very well.

Well, if any of you are interested, this is the speaker dock which I believe I am keeping:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Samsung+...&skuId=5563104

It has great sound, can charge both my iPods and Samsung phones, and in my opinion looks quite pleasing to the eye. At $300.00 I think it's a steal. Before this, I purchased a portable Sony speaker, then exchanged it for a JBL Onbeat Venue LT. None of these IMO come even close to the SQ of this baby.

My Samsung is 40 watts. I didn't even put the power past 50 percent and it fills my living space with sound. I also hear good things about the Beat Box, but the reviewers might be raving about it because they are sheep.

I plan on using the Sharp in the yard for BBQ time, and in the garage for when I work out. Perfect IMO,...

I've never put batteries in my Sony.....it would be a workout in itself to carry it around with 10 D-cells in it, since it's kinda heavy already....lol. I do carry it around the house though....the treadmill, exercise bike, and weight machine are in the basement, and I am on the top floor of the house.

I've also never used the cassette deck or CD player....just the Aux-in and the FM a couple of times.

Everyone has their preferences, etc. but as for me, I do not see a point in MP3 CDs because most wireless players can use blue tooth to receive almost every type of DAP or phone that also supports blue tooth. Being MP3 files can be played on any DAP I think having a CD player is overkill. I do like the fact though that MP3 CDs can be used in a car, etc. but to me that is the extent of using them.

Holy cow @ $4gs for that. I love the "how many" column. It will only let you pick 99 of them

Yes, that sucker is rated at 2,000 watts also. It must get incredibly loud.

That might be a good purchase so it can be rented out to people so a profit can be made. Who wouldn't want to rent that out? lol
