Default Replacing a stolen J3.

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to replace my J3 which was recently stolen.

I loved my J3 because it was small, had a great battery life and large capacity.

I only ever used it to listen to music and that's about it.

I've looked at Cowon's current offerings and I'm not at all impressed, so I may have to look at another brand.

My only requirements are...
  • Long battery life.
  • OGG Support
  • Large solid state capacity (my current collection is currently 62GB)
  • Expandable storage (either Standard or Micro SD and the ability to support 64GB cards and above would be nice)
  • Decent Sound quality.
So having said all that... Does anyone have any ideas?

Do you still need the BBE enhancements that a Cowon player offers? I would look into a Galaxy player if BBE is not required.
Players: Sony Walkman D-NE710, Zen Vision W (Repair in progress),Sansa Clip Zip, HTC Evo 4G 3D, Cowon X9

Headphones:Philips SHS5200, Phillips SHQ1000/28, Sentry FatBoy HO865, Motorola S305 BT,

How about a new 32GB J3???

JetAudio (i.e. Cowon USA) seems to have found some leftover in stock, because seven new-in-a-box 32GB black J3's were put up for sale on Amazon yesterday at standard retail price of $299.

They've only got four left right now, so you better jump fast if you want one.

As much as I love the j3, it seems like a lot of coin in 2013 based on the capability and capacity.

I bought a 2nd one when they announced the end of the party, but mainly because my power button is kind of wonky

They're gone. Time for plan B.
Daily drivers - Dell 6540 -> Boston Acoustics BA745
Others -
Cowon J3, D2+, Iaudio 7, Sandisk m260, Samsung yp-r0 8GB, SGP 5.0
