Default Flac Files on Cowon X7

Hello,

I have a cowon X7 and a some FLACs I ripped with EAC. After reading This I tried removing my ID3 tags from a few and see if they worked. I tried the using tag.exe and EasyTag as the suggestions from here suggested, but my cowon still refuses to list the FLAC files in either the file browser or the music App. I do have a series of FLAC I downloaded as an Electronic Purchase that work perfectly. I cannot tell what the different between the to are. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

MP3Tag automatically saves as FLAC tags to FLAC files and the Cowon X7 should read them. Most of the library on my X7 is FLAC files and they work perfectly.

I haven't had any issues either. It even see and tries but fails to play 24 bit FLAC files.

One thing about the browser - it doesn't seem to display files it doesn't recognise as media files, ie do all your FLAC files have the filename extension .flac ?
