Default Storing your headphones?

Hey all!~ Hope you are all well. Had a question about how to store a set of HPs...I was wondering if there are any hooks that are big enough and cheaper than buying something like this:

I am looking for something that is fashionable/stylish as I live at home and my mom is a very particular person...any ideas?

Another idea would be to display your headphones on mannequin heads. There are fancier ones as well, however those are much more expensive.

These look like they have a more stable base.

A mannequin head, what are you even thinking haha. If you're gonna do that, you might as well get a Greek bust and put the headphones on it, at least your house wouldn't look like a clothing store window.

I think putting your headphones on display is a little odd. Keep them in a box or dedicate some space in a drawer for them. If you really want to hang them up, you can hammer any one or two hooks into your wall for a few dollars. Just look around a hardware store for something that doesn't jut out too much.

If I think of classy storage solutions, I just think of putting it in a glass case with the rest of the electronics that need protection from dust, though it's not a good solution if you don't already have one / want to use one for all your electronics. I think your mom would find a mannequin head pretty dreadful lol.

Take a look at this thread for some ideas. I'm particularly fond of the Dos Equis model.

Not if you put a wig and make-up on it to make it look like her.

Banana hammocks aside. Have to agree with this.

I ended up getting two of these,

Plan on using the top part to hang the HDs on.

That's a good cheap solution, tisummer. I personally use a pegboard with peg hooks for my most-visited headphones...but those require some serious wall space at this point.

Another inexpensive (though less attractive) option, if the slope of your coat hooks ever proves to be a problem, could be to utilize door stops like these:

Just be careful not to toss your truck nuts onto them...

I never got those. Or the Calvin sticker pissing on <insert brand of choice>. Cargonads made me laugh though.

I have a computer armoire, so since I never close the darn thing I use the doors as hp holders. Works fine for meh.
