Default Playlist from Tablet

So I just got a scandisk clip and I have a list of music on my transformer TF700 android tablet. I put all my music on my micro sd card and have no trouble putting music onto the player. But I don't know how to put playlist on the player through my tablet. I am sorry if this is a simple question I am not technically savvy just got the tablet and am just getting use to the app thing. Thanks.

Welcome to AB i

More details would really help. What USB mode was the Clip in when you transferred the files? MTP, MSC or the default Autodetect? Is the playlist you want to transfer available on your tablet as a .m3u file? If not, do you have an app that can export the playlist from the form it's in to a .m3u? Did you use any software to transfer the files? What software, if any, do you use to transfer files to your tablet? Is that what you use to create playlists on the tablet?

What you want to do is very likely possible with the right software. If you provide more info there's a good chance someone here will be able to help. I can think of a couple of ways you can do it with free or low cost software and a little setup. I wouldn't want to spend a lot of time typing it up and it turns out that there's a roadblock I don't know about yet.

Thanks! Ok sorry for the elementry questions but how do I tell what mode it is in. All I did to load music on to my micro SD card, is copy and past from my music file. I have no idea what a .m3u file is, it is in mp3 format if that helps. I have downloaded 2 apps thinking I can move the playlists from there to the SD card but all it does is put duplicates on the player. Those apps are double twist and winamp not sure if those were the right ones. I have no songs on the memory of the player only th sd card. Also just to clarify I want all the music to come from there with my playlist on them. I tried making a file within the card thinking it would show up on the player but doesn't. I hope I am making sense?

Go to Settings > System Settings > USB Mode

M3u is a playlist format file (a listing if you will), different from .mp3 which is an audio format file.

I'm not familiar with double twist, but you can make .m3u playlists very easily with Winamp.

Make sure you are pulling the files from the source (in your case the SD card, and not your computer) when addinig them to the playlist. Also save the playlist .m3u file in the Muisc folder (if you have one, root directory if not) along side of the files on the card.

I wrote this 'step-by-step' post on creating playlists in Winamp some time ago. Maybe it will help you.

Glad you found it useful. Post back if you have any questions, or problems with anything. It's a pretty helpful bunch around here!
