She wanted a public outing. She got one.

It would have been better to have asked them to stop, by doing what she did she didn't give them a chance at all. Yes, the jokes they made were not appropriate, but neither was the way that she handled it.

WTF kind of PC reporting is this? Terminated her "position"? They fired her.

I find the British term even more amusing "made redundant".

Good that she got fired also! She is more in hot water than the two developers because she will be forever known as a whistle blower. What she should have done is politely ask them to stop, and if they refused to reach out to the internal HR department.

It seems that she has a history of reacting quite a bit. This article highlights some of the things she's said in the past.

The worst part is, on her own blog she even said that it only takes 3 words: "That's not cool". Why didn't she just use those then?

I see she's mainly a media whore. And before this is "misconstrued" as sexist, I feel this way about any "person", male or female. All she cares about is causing controversy for her blog & self to thrive. She's a bane to the female techie community. Nay, to the male OR female techie community. I think she got what she deserved. The guy she got fired, IMO, was dealt an injustice.
