Hi,
Sorry if this sounds like a noob question, will IEM (with mic) that are "designed for use with iDevice" works with other device? Will they suffer some audio quality loss compared to normal version? The IEM I'm looking at is the Sony XBA-1iP. BTW, Fiio Walkman LOD cable selling at 16 USD, worth the price? No other place are selling it , the amp I got is Fiio E6 while my IEM is V-Sonic GR04.Thanks in advance! |

the remote is usually the part that is designed for an idevice. buttons may not work on other devices. They make an xba1 that isnt i specific.

The headphone store nearby no longer carry the normal plain XBA-1, only the iDevice mic version left :/ The audio will still works, right?

The audio will come through, and the play/pause clicker might work with your device. The volume controls won't work.
