Thanks for volunteering. You are going to be flooded w/ questions

Any news on when a new firmware is coming out?

My number 1 request is BOOKMARKING feature.
Number 2 is NO TIME LIMIT of 10mins (or 15mins as someone found out)
Number 3 is DYNAMIC playlist

Hey there,

Well, there is a whole list of all the suggestions of future features and bugs which have been found in a pin'd thread. It would be nice if you could highlight these to your colleagues or something..

This is seeming a little bogus to me.

Why don't we give the guy the benefit of the doubt? What purpose would he have in deceiving us if we are just a little cautious about not relying his word as gospel? Let's see if he gives some good info about dates, etc. If it turns out to be true, everyone comes out ahead.

The most suspicious aspect is: if you did work for Sandisk, why would you announce yourself on the forum, when all the information you need is on this site (problems, firmware recommendations, etc.).

We'll see.....but it looks mighty fishy.

Nice.

But guess what? I have the even bigger capacity Sansa. SanDisk is probably going to announce it soon anyways.

Sandisk and what about custom EQ?
Are you going to introduce this in new firmware?

Second question is about that 'electronical' noises, poping etc. What about that, can you give us some information? :>

So this is just software problem?
And what about that noises lasting few seconds after starting a song?

BTW are you going to develop some other languages in the menu? Personaly I'd prefer support for polish :P

...and another quick thought: mayby you'll contact with the rockbox team :]

Check the Firmware Suggestions thread to make this MP3 player a real Ipod destroyer. It's priority sorted, the first suggestions/bugs are the ones which need immediate attention.

Welcome to the Sansa Forums. You'll find quite valuable product feedback here. It's probably the most active Sansa-related forum out there.

Okay Sandisk, how much do you work directly with engineering? I just sent our list of concerns to Kevin Weinberg who tells me he gathers and reports data on bugs/concerns directly to engineering. He recieved the list today, so can you confirm with anyone that engineering recieved the list? I am suppose to talk to Kevin later this week.

Thanks.

It is nice that Sandisk follows Samsung's path. Hopefully we'll see a new firmware shows up somewhere next year. I already bought the 4gb because I couldn't find the 6gb on eBay.

Slaughter - you are becoming like CIA now. Usually some people do not want to reveal their IP addresses in a public forum though no doubt he's going through a proxy, so you can't trace it back to the specific user - like I'm as well.
