Default Sansa Clip Zip with 32gb Sandisk card?

Hope someone can help me out here, I've just gotten my 4gb Sansa Clip Zip in the mail.

Fully charged and running the latest firmware.

I've got a fully loaded 32gb Sandisk microSD card which was previously in my Cowon C2.

I've put it into the Clip Zip, but its showing as having no files on. I'm using the folder browser from within the player. When the player is plugged into the PC, it shows the attatched card as being full of folders and music, but nothing on the device itsself.

Do I need to format the card using the player first? I'd rather avoid it as it means dragging 32gb of music off the card, formatting it and then dragging it all back on again, which is likely to take an age.

Am I missing something?

EDIT: Nevermind, sorted. I had to create a folder called 'MUSIC' on the root and copy all the other folders into there.

Actually, I don't think that should be necessary--but if it works, go for it . . . .
