I gave up on dedicated docks quite a while back but this may be a nice find for those that like them and have sansas with the proprietary connector. A bit pricey perhaps but considering how rare it is to find them at all now the price doesn't seem too far out of line.

The player you plug into them is outdated....that said, I do have a perfectly functioning Rockboxed e280v1. But I would not buy one of those docks for it when I can just plug it into the aux jack of my Sony Xplod boombox.

Those aren't "relics" or "outdated". When they get that old they're "Classic"!

For what they're asking for them they better be "Classic". IIRC I got mine for around $20 from Woot. They just about couldn't give them away then. I have a couple of older sansas around that would work them so I'd consider paying around that another one. No way in hell I'd pay what they're asking now. They're nice, but not that nice.

And Video or Classic, the screen's really too small for videos....lol. Why not just call them Ipod Wolfson and iPod Cirrus? They each have their pluses and minuses but both are good players.

Ah--I guess I find the pricing on most docks silly--at their basics, they're simply a plastic stand with some connectors.
