The Sony Store is also price matching Future Shop, and they have them in both black and red.

I saw that sale on their website, and I was wondering why the red one is $150 regularly, but the black one is $250 regularly.

Is red really that bad a color for the same device?

I've no idea. If anything red should usually be more expensive than black, IMO. Perhaps the surplus inventory has led to them dropping the price below the black ones.
