I heard about this today,...screw that!!! I'll remove the dvr from my house before I agree to this bullshit. They already track what you do by what you watch, no way are these azzholes going to actually see me.

Invasion of privacy, without your consent I’d love to see them try without getting sued. That said, they’ll probably try to incorporate some BS in the small print of your service agreement. Which if you can’t opt out, just don’t use their service or equipment, nuff said.

Just turn the dvr around backwards and put an old CD above it aimed towards the RF receiver and the remote will still work.
