Samsung K5 was my First Mp3 player ever (after Mindisc)
and back then the only i realy liked Today i almost never used it by kept is as a good memory but the build-in speakers came in handy for Radio Now that i turned on K5 after it had been turned off and probaly not charged for some months it didnt want to turn on at all Tried to charge it but nothing happened Is it dead or is there a reset-hole trick i can try to revive it? For now my K5 radio alternative will probaly be a mobile phone with speakers or My S9 paired with external speakers |

Is it still recognized by the PC?
If yes, then the battery may be dead yes. I would suggest you to buy a new battery http://www.samsungparts.com/Products...l=YP-K5JAB/XAA or buy a second-hand K5 or S5 on ebay for example.

If it is a STMP-based (sigmatel) player, then it enters the recovery mode perhaps (may be similar to other chips as well)
