Just SOP for dealing with plug in based media players for me, Marv. I've found the ones that are well written can be extended or customized easily by adding or removing plugins you want or don't need. Poorly written ones will break if you fiddle around with the wrong ones. Winamp is what comes to mind there.

The one precaution I'd add is that with a paid version placing the .dll back where it came from may not be enough to regain that function. If that happens you can usually get it to working again by reentering your product key. That causes the program to recognize all the paid for functions again.

You may want to try this. Download the fep theme http://themes.rockbox.org/index.php?...=sansaclipplus. You'll also need the font pack http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/RockboxExtras if you don't already have it installed.

into a empty text document and save it as <your name>.cfg.

Save that anywhere on your Rockboxed Clip+. To activate it just "play" it. If everything is right you'll have the most visible theme I've come up with. The status bar is at the bottom and nothing gets split by the blue/yellow divider. If the root menu order is missing any of the items you usually use you can add them by editing that line.

BTW, ignore that part about "for elderly people". Everybody knows your eyes get stronger as you gain experience, don't they?

Those tweaks are pretty interesting. I think I might give MM4 another try now (provided it doesn't glitch up again).

When it comes to color combinations, I prefer black on orange. I find that combination is very easy on the eyes. As far as skins go, I use the Helium gDark skin. Out of the box, I've found it to be one that is easy on the eyes.
