Hello,
So I have a sd card micro from my cellphone and it has all my pictures in it. A problem came about when one day I realized my computer kept saying "Please insert disk into drive" when the memory card reader mobile mate along with the sd card was inserted into the computer. I want to upload the pictures into my computer as a backup but this problem is preventing me from doing so. When I realized I could put the card into J3 I hoped to transfer the pictures through the J3. When I went clicked the J3 folder then pictures, it didnt show up. Make things short... ~~ Is there any way to opening up the pictures and videos on the external memory card to the computer using J3? ~~ Or anyone know any other possible ways I can save the memory on my sd card into my computer as back up?? |

Since the pictures were taken with the cell phone can you not use it as the connection to the PC.
To get much more help, I think we might need to know which phone. Steve

Also, it sounds like the card may have file errors, or be corrupted. And, as stated - what phone is it? Is it a dumb phone, smartphone, Android, etc. these things matter.

Sounds like your card is corrupted and is on it's way to the grave. You can Google for some free data recovery programs and see if you can get the data off of it. Otherwise it might be gone forever.
![]() For your computer I'd try different usb ports and a new reader to see if you can get the card to show up.

I'm just wondering if the filesystem is raw? I'm not sure how to tell in windows, without one laying around to confirm.

not quite understanding what you mean by filesystem.
But pictures on the card works perfectly fine on my phone and on the J3. Problem is, whenever i connect it to my computer, it says "please insert...ect..." This started happening recently. So I dont think its the card problem>? |

Sounds like the computer has an error where it refuses to recognize the card. Too bad your phone can't email the pics,...
