Sorry I reread my post and it was deceiving, I was talking today as some hospitals and some health care are up today and the wink was cause of obama care speculation they're up. Normally the stock market is up over the long past or why would peeps invest, although that's not always the case :/

If you recall, Al Gore won the popular vote in 2000, but after the Florida situation occurred, George Bush won the electoral college, and therefore the election.

The only state I can see that Romney changed from Democrat to Republican is Indiana - one state....maybe Florida later on. That's a big loss.

I have lived in Indiana all of my 56 years; and we have always been primarily a Republican state. Sure, there have been a few exceptions from time to time, but Republican's always have an edge going into a campaign.

Even though I don't follow politics (can't vote yet), I'm happy Obama won.

Learned about the voting system last week, and I have to say, it's pretty confusing. The time will come when I need to pay attention to this stuff, but that time isn't now .

Romney also got North Carolina. Obama got less electoral votes than in the first election which I don't think happens very often.

But, the sad thing is, it's true.



Hopefully over the next four years, you guys get improvements in health care, religious freedom, education and acceptance.

I couldn't imagine a place were; When I go to emergency I would be more worried about my wallet then my head which is bleeding everywhere (it happened), Where I can be an athiest/agnostic/muslim/buddhist/christian/scientologist and not be judged, Where I can go to uni and worry about everything later, and Where I could be anything I want without being judged. But, these are problems that some people do face.

To me, if Romney had won, the aforementioned rights would have been restricted. I know not much about what he stands for economically speaking, but in my mind, when you have problems such as prejudice, no health care, education only the rich can afford and much more, putting someone like Romney in a position that powerful scares me. You have to at least have some compassion for your people, and I see that in Obama. I don't in Romney. As I said, I don't have much of an idea what is going on economically/socially in the US, but I don't trust Romney as much as I trust Obama with the "Presidency of the free world".
