There really seems to be no middle ground in the news business.....all the outlets seem to be either right or left. If anyone knows of a truly middle of the road outlet, I'd love to hear about it...lol.

I thought I already posted one in post 19 but I guess I didn't explain it or is this link not middle of the ground? Share your thoughts … they claim "to provide non-partisan information for voters in the Presidential election" ... there is loads of news on how they stand and issues there ...

I can't tell you how deeply saddened I was when I saw my President (Pres. Obama) make his first negative (and unfortunate) ad against former Governor Romney. I don't know why (wishful thinking on my part with Pres. Obama, truly a man of character, it seems?), but I thought that my President (whatever the president's party) was beyond that, at this point in time, regardless of what the other party or candidate was doing. I'm still saddened, and a bit ashamed.

"They" say that negative ads work. How about just plain candor and honesty, without the bullying? And in the end, that's really what so many of those negative ads are, isn't it? The same bullying that society is saying needs to be drummed out vigorously?

You know what kills me about these parties … they divide and upset the balance between friends, family members and the people. Rather than focusing on how they can help a nation they waste their time throwing mud, how immature!
