Default Dream Theater - Greatest Cover Band Ever?

As most of you know, DT is probably the most technically profficient band that ever existed. IMO they write great songs in their own rite but what's not so much known about them is that they are also geat at covering other band's music. Of course, it's always more enjoyable to listen to recordings by the original artists, DT seems to nail it every time. And, most of their covers are performed live so there is no protection from retakes and redubbing. They covered Pantera, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Deep Purple, and even Prince's Purple Rain for Christ's sake. If the original artist's voices can be substituted for Labrie, you would swear it's hte original bands that are performing. And Labrie, IMO is excellent in Panterra's cover of Cemetary Gates. But don't take my word for it. Here are some covers so you can be the judge yourselves;

Cowon X7 160GB - iRiver H320 - IPod Classic 160GB - iPod 5.5G 80GB - Sansa Clip Plus 4GB - Original Sansa Clip 2GB
