Default McDonalds is opening vegetarian restaurants in India
This made me laugh. I wonder when they will open vegetarian restaurants in the US. I wonder when Outback and Benihana will open their first vegetarian restaurants.

It seems many Hindus are upset about McDonalds in general, and the huge number of cows that are slaughtered each year to supply it. It seems that many Hindus will boycott all McDonalds restuarants, including the vegetarian ones.

I remember visting Fairfield, Iowa where Marharishi University is. I asked a local where I could find a good steak in this town all I see is vegan resturants. He said "eat a cow is like eating a family member" In which I replied "You don't know my family, I am doing you a favor" He didn't find it funny.

I love animals....there delicious!

I thought they were over there already. I was there in 2000 or 2001 and took a picture of a cow standing in front of one.

McDonalds will be offering Mcnoodles. This should have a huge profit margin. I guess they are also making huge margins on oatmeal. Will we soon see tofu dishes at McDonald's? I give them credit for innovating. I guess that realize beef consumption will probably drop, and that they need to diversify away from beef and chicken.

But it's taken them sooooooo long to come to this realization! Chains in the EU have been serving non-meat fast food meals for decades, while McD's lags and lags and lags.

Tofu isn't bad once you get used to it. It has almost no taste, so it takes on the taste of whatever spices or sauce you put on it. The super firm tofu has almost the consistency of hard cheese. I don't like the soft and watery tofu so much.

What is tofu made out of? I hear so many rumors/misconceptions roaming around about the stuff it's hard to know. BTW I used to work at McDonald's, & I can attest to them always having something new going on that will taste exactly the same as what they are offering now.

Tofu is made from soybeans, water and a coagulant, or curdling agent. It is high in protein and calcium and well known for its ability to absorb new flavors through spices and marinades. But taste like shit to me

I used to eat tofu thinking it was good for me until I finally realized it was what was causing me gastrointestinal distress and felt like shit. Cleared right up after I stopped eating it. Plus it caused me to look into why and how -- it's some bad shit yo. Apparently only fermented soy is safe/healthy. Unfermented soy can jack up your thyroid, GI tract, and can potentially cause endometrial cancer.

I've heard it rumored (from my friends, on the hearsay reliability network) that soy products give the body an excess of estrogen causing men to go from having pecs to nice flabby chest sacks!
