![]() Engadget has reportedly obtained specs for – and pictures of – Motorola's upcoming DROID RAZR M 4G LTE handset. The next DROID, formerly known as the "Motorola XT907," is bound for Verizon's 4G LTE network, featuring a design very similar to that of the DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX. The device has a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced Display running at a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. It is, of course, fashioned out of Corning Gorilla Glass 2. A whopping 3MP front-facing camera is situated above the screen, backed by an 8MP rear-facing camera with support for 1080p HD video capture with image stabilization. Inside, the DROID RAZR M 4G LTE features a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, and 8GB of internal memory. You can, however, increase the available storage by up to 32GB through the use of a microSD card. It also includes a micro SIM card slot, NFC, and up to 17 days of battery life on standby. Sadly, the device will be running Android 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwich," rather than the more recent "Jelly Bean" flavor of the OS. Motorola is expected to announce the DROID RAZR M 4G LTE at its September 5 press event. With many other companies planning big announcements next week (Microsoft/Nokia and Amazon immediately come to mind), it should be an exciting couple of days in the smartphone and tablet space.
