Default Change Battery of Samsung R1

Hey guys,

I have a problem with my R1. Yesterday I heard way to long music, so the battery ran low. Plugged on to the power supply the display immediatly showed the message that the battery is at 100%. I am quite sure that the battery got broken.
On the internet I found a blog where the battery pack, which is integrated to the R1 is shown (http://www.ebay.de/itm/MP3-PLAYER-AK...item565eb4c592). I have tried to open the player and found one possibility to remove a plastic front at the headphone-side of the player. But I could not open it up.

Has anybody any experience in opening his player. Do I need any special skills or tolls?

I am very thankful for any advice. If it comes quick, I am even more thankful, because in a week I will have a quite long business travel and I would like to take my player with me :-)

Thanks to all.

T

You can find a disassembly guide in the service manual here: http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum...ad.php?t=71554

Your ebay link is for YP-Q1 and Q2 (620mAh). It most likely won't fit into the R1 (485mAh)
