My volume up button does not work on my new Zip out of the box. The increase volume button does not click or move, like the decrease volume button does. To get the volume to increase, I have to push the button hard. I am doing an exchange, but wanted to post this problem. In reading posts on various forums, others have reported problems with buttons not working. I wonder if Sansa skimped on the button design to keep the cost down?

I doubt that, you may have just unluckily received a manufacturer’s defective player or maybe there was a batch of bad ones that slipped through quality control. AFAIK they haven’t changed any parts to lower their cost. BTW they’re really good about their return policy and one of my returns was back to me in less than 9 days. Was a different issue and was on the v2 model.

I have the same problem. Just got my Clip zip a few minutes ago. Frustrating...
Thank goodness for Amazon's speedy customer service. Last edited by rain_of_toads; 01-08-2013 at 11:36 PM. |

In addition to immense selection and customer reviews, Amazon's customer service is one of the best reasons to buy from it. And do you remember the early days, when Amazon would deliberately hide its phone number and you would have to search the web for it?
