Can not delete files

When I try to delete file s on Sansa Clip Zip I get the message "error deleting file" and this is a read only file system".
How can I fix this? I wonder if this is because I installed some files on the computer at work?

O wait...I forgot that I can delete them from the Sansa menu. I was trying to delete them from my PC browser. Isn't that possible?

That's usually a symptom of a files system problem. I'd use whatever disk checking utility you have for your OS to check the disk for errors.
