J3, Z2, walkmanZ, or something else? What do you recommend?

Hey, I need help choosing a new mp3 player. My zune is now dead so was thinking of getting either a cowon j3 or a z2. I'm aware the j3 is discontinued but is still favored by many. I like how many formats the z2 supports. I'm also open to other devices similar to these like the sony walkman z. I would like something good for music and videos. I want a device with at least 32gb. I don't really care about apps and internet browser because I already have an iphone(only 8gb). I liked how compatible with my zune was with my xbox, and was wondering how compatible cowon is with the xbox 360. I,m also going to be plugging the device into my car stereo system. I want a device that runs smooth and quick and will last me a long time. I don't really care how long the battery lasts as long its no way to low like 4 hours haha. I'm located in the U.S and my budget limit is $350. What do you recommend?

Z2 is propably best for you. It has android wchich is really useful [loads of apps and if you want to play - games]. Cowon with xbox 360? I don't think it will go great. What exactly do you mean by "compatibile"?

forget about android if you want work with your xbox.
if you really care about speed and to be smooth, get the walkman or j3.

Z2 is faster than j3, an i don't know walkman but i assume it is faster than it too...

By compatible I mean will my xbox recognize it through usb. I read that the s9 had problems being recognized through video but pics and music had no issues. I haven't seen anything if it was still a problem with cowon's newer devices.
As for android it sounds like of a plus, I just found out about xbox smartglass that was just announced at e3r...here are some links explaining what it is

even i am in doubt as to which one to choose from - the cowon z or the walkman z ?
i like the multi format support , the amoled screen and the expandable memory of the z2.
but the sony has a bigger screen,looks cooler and has a better proceesor.
(also ,i believe tht cowon wins over sony in sound quality as well)
( i mostly listen to rock and a bit of pop).
