Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2 Temporarily Out Of Stock on Amazon 5/13/12

Hey guys I just checked amazon.com for the Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2 and they are already out of stock. Todays the day the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2 are available to the public. It turns out that people were really interested in the device. If you still want to get your hands on one of these devices you can go order one at newegg, b&h photo, best buy, or frys.

That may be less of an indicator of interest and more of an indicator of prudent supply management.

Actually, I am starting to wonder if amazon has even received any yet. My preorder still hasn't shipped yet, which is very unlike amazon. I place the order exactly a week ago, I think it was the first day available, and I requested two day shipping. Meanwhile something else I ordered yesterday with regular 5 day shipping @amazon has already shipped.

it still says expected delivery 5/16 though, so hopefully it still comes through.

I also noticed it was already out of stock Sunday morning but ordered it from Amazon anyway. I have a feeling they never had them in stock on 5/13. As far as I know, Samsung has not advertised the Galaxy MP3 players so the only people who were even aware of the 4.2 are people who are interested in MP3 players that don't start with the letter "i."

Does that mean your has shipped?

If not, remember an "estimated delivery" is a lot different than a "scheduled delivery."

In the video, it looks lioke Samsung shipped the 4.2 with a newer version of TouchWiz/Touchwiz apps than what is on the Galaxy Player 4 (what I have)

Any chance to get the updated Touchwiz/apps (camera, music player, etc...) on the Galaxy Player 4? Thanks for your help.
