I certainly wouldn't respect him after reading that. He obviously has a bias or is incapable of figuring out how to use one of the most user-friendly music players I've ever seen.

My problem is that what you're spouting is not the truth. Not at all. You've provided nothing but outdated sources and faulty information.

I'm a nun and I find this offensive.

Anyway, 'highly respected tech journalist', so is Justin Bieber for his music by his fans and the received awards, still doesn't make it any good.

I fail to see how the outdated/low spec phone is a bad thing since it still runs very nicely compared to 'up to date/high spec' phones. Ever heard of optimization?

It seems the other way around, that is, the truth about WP and Nokia, even if sales figures don't lie, it is yet you who dislikes the truth that people like/buy/use/are happy with WP and Nokia, and it works very well.

And I hope you take your word when saying you are all done here.

Good point. From what minimal amounts I've used my friend's, it seems much smoother and overall nicer experience than either my SGP 5.0, my iPod Touch 3, any of my friends' iPod Touch/iPhone 4's, or my brother's SGSII (all of which I've used more extensively, which may be part of it. I've certainly seen the worst of those, I would believe).

That's what has me so happy about my phone. The smoothness, and the usability, are just fantastic. it's a much better experience than I'd expected. And, if you know me, I was a huge critic of the Zune HD. This is Zune HD on STEROIDS!!!

Still, just gimme my EQ and some addition memory and I'm SET!!!

I'm sure even if you found a good one with those options you wouldn't be happy. As an avid consumer should be. Though, at least the additional memory should be fixed in WP8...

Actually, your wrong. I'm damn happy with this phone. I'm just pissed that HTC put an EQ in their Windows phone. I hate HTC. I'll gladly follow this up with the sequal Nokia that follows. Especially since sdhc support will be in WP8.
