Default bricked touch2 need help!

Hi

I have a zen touch2 which I can't seem to recover no matter what I try.

I'm thinking I may just need a copy of the stock rom and try to reinstall but so far nothing is working.

Problem:

accidentally removed system apps, namely explorer significantly.

Also seem to have destroyed my drivers.

As a result I can't reinstall from sd the previous firmware updates. Also can't recover the files thru a factory reset.

Can't get drivers to recognise, creative nor google android usb.

Therefore adb won't work.

Can't get apk or update zip files to recognise in the recovery reboot mode. Wiped cache, system etc - I just get the can't find EXTSD partition.

Pretty much tried other solutions- apk installer, cornea, etc but nothing seems to work.

I do have root access on device but fat lot of good that's doing me, as I can't find my way into the file system.

If I mount and turn USB Storage on, I get access to the top level directory on my windows pc.

Is there any way to force the update firmware files to install from the PC? or to flash to stock rom (if anyone has a copy)?

Help!!!

TIA
