Default what headphones (not IEMs) would you spend $30 on right now?

My ears have been bothering me for a couple of days. this happens periodically and it isnt comfortable to wear IEMs. for home I have my Cortex and they are fantastic...but they look stupid while sitting at my cubicle. So what would you spend $30ish on right now? I dont care what you saw on sale one day or the great deal your uncle got when he was at can jam 2010 in Bavaria. I need to be able to buy them now. Online is fine. used is fine.

EDIT - candidates so far...

I just got another for work,...I'm gonna put some foam or cotton batting behind the drivers. The guys at my job are so loud it's KILLING ME!!! I'm going to use them as musical ear protection when I'm on standby,...

Spend around $13 on the JVC HA-S160 or perhaps around $15-20 on the Koss KSC75.
Another option is some traditional style earbuds like the Sennheiser MX580.

@ TDS...standby? what do you do?

@ JK...flats are a decent idea too. I dont like the ksc75 personally. and earbuds kill me. but flats may be an option

I will second the DBI-Pro 700s. I got mine in the mail this morning and have been burning them in. They're great. Sound quality leaves a little to be desired but can you complain with headphones that can put up with that big of a beating?

The JVC Flats HA-S160 is one of the best bargains in headphones. I prefer its sound to that of the $40 Koss Portapro, and like it almost as much as the $70 Sennheiser PX100.

First, they're already burned in - they're originally from a listening station in a music store (HMV, etc,...).

Second, the SQ isn't as great as some cans. But, for a beater set these are pretty solid. Plus, add a cheap amp (FiiO) and some EQ and they can compete with most cans.

Besides, using them to just drown ppl out, or nap at home, they ROCK!!!
