Protection for my S9

I just got my S9 yesterday, I couldn't be happier with it, and would like to know the best way to keep it protected. I am a tile installer and will be listening to it while I work. Though I will try to keep the S9 out of direct contact of the water and mortar that I use and it will be kept in my pocket there is always a chance that it will see some exposure to these elements.

I regretfully ordered this case when I ordered the S9 but I don't think it will do much to protect the S9 from moisture and dust, but it does seem to be padded and should be good at reducing some wear and shock damage.

Has anybody tried the Best Skins Ever skins? Do these skins conform to the buttons on top and is it a pain to apply them? Do they feel like they are offering a lot of protection?

I would love to use a skin like the Ringke skins but most pf the colors are sold out, even more than the indicate on the page. If I am told that there is nothing better than these though I would settle on one of the colors available.

My plan would be to use one of these skins or something like them in addition to the leather case and have two layers of protection.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
