Default Volume Setting on MP3 Player
Any words of advice on volume setting for an mp3 player connected to a portable amp?

I typically see, set the player to the top or close to it, and use the amp for volume adjustment instead.

Depending on the amp, I normally run mine at around 75 to 80% full blast. I also do as Mikerman stated controlling the overall volume from the amps potentiometer.

Edit: with my DAC connected to my laptop/pc I'll run volume out full blast.
