Unhappy Confused Between Sansa Clip+ and Clip Zip

I wish to purchase an economic PMP with with very good if not excellent music quality. After a long session in the net I came across Sandisk's sansa mp3 players.I was quite happy with my find since I was pretty unhappy over the memory of apple nano4g(which i'd almost decided to buy) and apple ipod classic was out of my budget.

But I'm now really confused between sansa clip+ and clip zip.I inferred from the numerous reviews that fuze+ isn't comfy to use and fuze is out of market. If I'm wrong in this regard,I would like to be rectified.

Coming to clip+ and Clip zip, which one is better in terms of audio quality? Is the screen resolution of clip zip too bad?Which one works comparatively slower? Also most of the reviews were about the 4gb models. Is there something wrong with the 8gb ones?Which model would you recommend clip+,clip zip or fuse???????I would also like to know the pros and cons of each one in detail.
I badly need some suggestions.Pls help me out.

The Clip+ and Zip have the same audio hardware therefore the same audio quality. The screen is a relatively low resolution screen on the Zip. It's decent enough for album art displays and text. I believe most of the complaints come from those that are expecting a screen like those on a player meant for video. It's visible for me in everything but the direct sunlight. That's pretty much the same as every other decent player I have.

The 4 GB models are less expensive and more common. That's why you don't read much about the 8 GB model. With the lowering of prices on larger microsdhc cards the size of the internal memory isn't very important to me. At least not enough to pay more and have to order it online vs. going to a local store like I did to get the one I have. I haven't noticed that one responds quicker than the other but the CZ has a shorter database refresh time for me.

I'd recommend the Clip+ or the Zip. The Fuze has been out of production for a couple of years so I'm guessing the battery in the Clip line is fresher. I'm also not especially fond of the lack of a dedicated volume control or the scroll wheel on the Fuze. The sound quality is the same as the Clips. The sound hardware is the same on the Fuze as all the Clips.

That's about it for me on details. It would be better to ask specific questions if you need more info on a particular aspect of any of them.

I have both an you can not go wrong getting either one. The clip+ might be a little harder to find now since the zip came out

Little note letting you know that PMP (portable media player) plays video, audio and possibly other files. Where a DAP (digital audio player) is mainly audio.

They probably either mean the letter of the alphabet that pops up on the side of the display when you scroll through a list quickly. The list scrolls so quickly having that letter on the side makes it easier to stop without overshooting and having to scroll back and forth.
