I have a Samsung galaxy 4.0 and when the wifi is on, the signal is very inconsistent. It will go from 2 bars to no signal and then about 2 seconds later it will go back to two or three bars. This is very annoying when I'm downloading because it interrupts download and sometimes I have to restart it. My laptop and phone have absolutely no problem with my wifi and will never go out of signal.
Is this normal? Does anybody else's samsung galaxy do this? |

I had a very similar problem with my Samsung Galaxy 7. It kept loosing connection when other equipment was fine. The solution for me was changing the connection mode on my router to "g & b". It's been fine ever since.

keep in mind how very small the wifi antenna is on a device like this. I believe the antenna is in the upper portion so when on wifi don't let your hand wrap around the upper portion as that reduces the reception of the antenna.
